Welcome to Excellentiam!

The title ‘Excellentiam’ is Latin and taken from ‘Et Excellentiam’ which as the tagline suggests, means ‘The Way of Excellence.’

I decided to name my blog this because that is the path that I want to follow and the way of life I wish my posts to reflect.

For those of your who don’t already know me, please allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Kimberly. I live on the plains of Colorado, where I have a beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains right from my bedroom window.

I love to write, read, watch the stars and ponder the greatness of my God.

I’m a mere 22 years old. In my relatively short time on this Earth I should like to think that I’ve learn quite a bit, but that said I know how limited my experience is and for everything I know there is infinitely more to learn. And that is my quest here. To learn all I can and if possible impart some measure of wisdom to my readers and to myself through my writings here.

This of this blog as a spiritual snapshot of the things that God is teaching me. Not everything I post may be helpful or applicable to you, but I hope and pray that at least some of it is and that you might find encouragement to some degree from my spiritual journey.

But more than anything, I don’t want this blog to be about me and what I’m doing. Rather I wish it to be about God and what He’s doing.

Always remember, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”

My prayer for you all is that you would know God more and more deeply with each passing day.
